Local Facilities

Aberystwyth is a bustling town with many local facilities and attractions for both holidaymakers and those visiting the town on business.

• The Cambria provides affordable, quality office space and conference facilities to rent in Aberystwyth; and is centrally located in a historic building on the seafront with views across Cardigan Bay.
• Aberystwyth Arts Centre has two large auditoria and several smaller performance spaces as well as a cinema and four galleries. It hosts plays, films, comedy shows, performance art and live music and has two cafés and two bars.
• The Commodore Cinema is a family-owned independent cinema in the centre of town, showing the latest Hollywood releases.
• The National Library of Wales is one of the UK's six legal deposit libraries, entitled to receive a copy of every book or periodical published in the UK, housing over four million printed volumes. It regularly holds exhibitions and talks.
• The Vale of Rheidol Railway is a narrow gauge steam railway which links Aberystwyth Station with the picturesque scenery of Devil's Bridge.
